This wedding gown was worn by a bride from the Western Pa area. The
wedding was before they had color cameras. Here she and her groom
leave the church. The gown was so beautiful I hated to cut it up.
The wedding was September 8, 1956. The footpad of the bear was
embroidered with this date. One of the bears was a wedding present
to a grand daughter who was being married May 21, 2005
This was another beautiful gown worn by my niece on the day she married my
nephew. You can't imagine how I cry when I cut up these lovely
gowns, but when the bears come alive, I smile. What a wonderful bear
it made.
This is a close up of Lori's bear
This is another wedding gown bear. I was able to use the lace from
the bodice as a cape to dress it up a bit.
This is a rabbit fur bear dressed in wedding attire. These two bears
were decorations at a wedding in 2004.
